NATO needs a coherent approach to collaboration with the private sector – including on rapid employment of professionals and services to augment workforce at any NATO body, mapping and developing technology and rapid fielding of technologies. NATO should benefit from a unified Framework Contract pathway designed to address different technology verticals, in areas ranging from data science and AI through to access to space-based ISR services and uncrewed systems. This pathway should be usable across all NATO entities and funding sources.
