This Policy aims to support NATO in the execution of its tasks by setting the mandatory principles for the effective and efficient management of data and metadata, with a view to enhancing adequate quality, security, integrity, protection, availability, interoperability, understanding and effective use of data in the NATO Enterprise, in the Alliance, and in coalitions with Partners.
