The primary delivery team which has end-to-end accountability for delivery of services (ingestion, consumption, discovery, observability, quality etc.) required by the data product. The data product team has a clear scope and boundaries (management for an identified database, set of tables, of files etc.), an accountable owner, and a skilled team to deliver necessary capabilities. Building data products involves understanding business requirements, managing data, developing solutions, and continuously iterating for improvements. The Data Product Team interacts with other types of service delivery teams required for the successful delivery of the Data Product.
